Benefit Summary 2007:
Insurance benefits
Available to employees working at least 30 hours per week. Employees are eligible to participate the first of the month after 30 days of regular full-time employment.
Health insurance
BVCU makes a generous contribution to the employee's premium and will reimburse a portion of the deductible.
Life insurance
BVCU contributes to the premium for one and a half times salary.
Dental insurance
Voluntary coverage available.
Short-term Disability
Available to employees the first of the month after 30 days of employment. BVCU contributes to the premium.
Long-term Disability
Available to employees the first of the month after 30 days of employment. BVCU contributes to the premium.
401K
BVCU contributes 5% of your earnings to a 401K plan whether you contribute or not! You choose how you want your funds invested. An outstanding benefit that separates us from the rest of the pack.
First Mortgage
Following one year of employment, qualified employees in good standing are eligible for one percent of their approved interest rate to prepay the principle of their mortgage
Training/Tuition Assistance
Opportunities to increase your job knowledge are encouraged at Boulder Valley Credit Union. Classes are offered through the Colorado Credit Union Association and others. Tuition reimbursement is also available for employees who have completed one year of employment, have a pre approved course selection and acceptable grades.
