No minimum balances and no monthly service fees! Checking services offer the ultimate in CONVENIENCE at Boulder Valley Credit Union locations, the CO-OP Network of ATMs, and Credit Union Service Centers throughout the United States.
- Minimum balance: None - a $25 or $50 deposit is required to open the account depending on the draft services needed.

EASY ONLINE SWITCH KIT
Switching your checking account from your current institution is EASY at BVCU with our Online Switch Kit.
Simply click on the link above to access the switch kit and fill-in the online forms. When finished the switch kit will generate all the letters you need to close your current checking account, request the funds from the account, change your direct deposit, and change all your current auto debits from bills you pay each month electronically. Our switch kit makes changing your checking account to BVCU easy and the entire process can be completed by you online in less than 5 minutes.
You must already be a member to use the switch kit. If you would like assistance in changing over your checking account, our Member Service Representatives are happy to help. Visit any one of our branches for assistance.
Business Checking Accounts
BVCU offers business checking accounts to qualifying businesses that have a trade name registered in the State of Colorado.
- Monthly fee of $7
- Transactions over 200/month are charged a .30/per item transaction fee.
Additionally, the member opening the checking account must also have a personal account with BVCU.
