Automatic and Electronic Transfers

BVCU offers many ways to automate your deposits and payments so you can spend your valuable time the way you want to.

Direct Deposit and Payments

Whether it’s your paycheck, a portion of your paycheck, your Social Security, or another type of deposit, Direct Deposit is the way to get your money automatically deposited into your account, right where you need it.

Direct deposit is safe because you don’t risk losing a paper check. Your funds are received by the credit union and deposited into your account on the scheduled date, so if you are out of town or unable to come to the credit union, you have the peace of mind knowing your funds are available. You may also have automatic withdrawals taken from your account, such as your mortgage payment, insurance premiums, and many other recurring payments.

Automatic Transfers

Automate your BVCU payments and deposits! If you have loans with us, or wish to build up your savings for the holidays, your children, or retirement, automatic transfers can help you stay on track. Simply call the credit union and we will be happy to set up automatic transfers to make your loan payments or savings deposits. You pick the day, the frequency, and the amount, and let our automatic transfers do the rest. All you have to do is make sure the funds are available on the day of the transfer.

Payroll Deduction

Many employers offer payroll deductions, where a portion of your paycheck is withheld by your employer and sent to the credit union. The credit union will distribute your funds according to your instructions. Enjoy this easy and convenient way to make your loan payments, deposit to your checking account, or save for the holidays.

ACH Origination

The Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a common name given to the nationwide electronic payment system responsible for Direct Deposit and Payments, discussed above. ACH Origination is an additional service offered by the credit union where we can withdraw from or deposit to your account at another financial institution. We initiate the transaction according to your instructions. You may sign up for scheduled recurring transactions or non-recurring transactions. For example, members with an account somewhere else can debit that account and make their BVCU loan payment. ACH Origination also enables you to send funds to your other account. There is no fee for scheduled recurring debit transactions (where your account at the other financial institution is debited). Inquire now and see how ACH Origination can work for you!
