Internet Banking Information

Free Internet Banking Services Login
Track your balances and transactions, order checks and more. Transactions are secure and convenient. Internet Banking is a FREE service of Boulder Valley Credit Union.
Account Information
Enjoy fast, easy access to your account for balances, history, and year-to-date information. Account transactions can simply be downloaded to Quicken, MS Money, Excel or other programs for easy money management. Under the Check Services tab, find your “checks only” history for easy account reconciliation, inquire to see if a particular check has cleared, or place a Stop Payment. If you sign up for e-Statements, you will be provided with access to copies of your BVCU 1098 and 1099-INT year end tax forms.
Account Transactions
Transfer within your account or to another account you have with us. Transfers allow you to make your loan payments, build up a savings account, or cover checking transactions. All available at your convenience, 24 hours a day, seven days a week from anywhere you have on-line access. You may also request a check withdrawal, which will be mailed to your account address.
Bill Payment
Our FREE online Bill Payment service makes your life easier, without postage costs! Bill pay is simple to navigate and helps you manage your account efficiently. You pick the time and place most convenient for you, and pay bills whenever you want. Schedule payments well in advance, or enter payments as they come due. Bill pay can make recurring or non-recurring payments, can keep track of remaining payments due, and can notify you via email when payments are scheduled to come out of your account. Look at your bill pay status and history at any time. Many payees are set up to receive electronic bill payments, while others will receive the payment by check. When scheduling payments, please remember receipt of payment may take up to ten (10) banking business days.
Free Online e-Statements
Less paper, less mail, less waste! Cut the clutter and gain more flexibility in your life with FREE e-Statements. Simply log in to Internet Banking, and on the left side of the main page, click on e-Statements and sign up today. You will receive an email message confirming your registration. Once registered, you will have secure access to your current and past statements. BONUS! You will also have access to copies of your BVCU 1098 and 1099-INT year end tax forms.
Check Images
Need proof of a check payment or can’t remember who that check was written to? Benefit from the ease of our fast, easy, secure and FREE electronic access to your check images. Bring up your checking account history, and click on the blue, underlined check number for an image of your check. Print the check image at your convenience. Having trouble seeing your check images? We have found that when checks are not ordered from the credit union approved check printer, the images do not always appear. We can fix this if you call the credit union and give us the information from the bottom of your check.
Order Checks
Enjoy the security and convenience of online check ordering. When logged in, select the Check Services tab, and click on Check Reorder. Submit your order, and you will receive your checks in 7 to 10 days. If you want to change check styles or the check numbering sequence, please call the credit union at 303.442.8850 or 1.800.783.8850 as this cannot be done online. If you have a new address, please be sure the address has been updated on your account before ordering checks online to avoid incorrect printing.
Address Changes
Moving? Internet Banking users have the convenience of changing their address online. Log in and select the User Options tab. In the list you will find Address Change. Click here and fill in the secure Change of Address Form. Don’t forget your new phone number and other accounts you may have at the credit union. Once your Change of Address form is submitted, we update your account(s). Please note that Visa Credit and Debit card address changes must go through an outside processor, and can take up to 2 days to be reflected. This can affect online purchases until the address has been updated.
Secure Member Messaging
Have a question about your account? Contact the credit
union with our Secure Message feature. You can access secure
messaging in two ways. Log in to Internet Banking and select the
User Options tab. In the list you will find User Messages. Click here
to enter a message or ask a question. Or, look for this icon
next
to your accounts or in account transaction history. Click on the icon next
to the account or transaction you have a question about, and submit your
question or comment to the credit union. We will research your question
and respond back with an answer. You can review your messages and our responses,
and you will see notification on your Internet Banking account if you
have a message waiting.

BVCU Security
At Boulder Valley Credit Union, we take security seriously. Protection of our members’ personal and financial information is paramount. We work with select vendors to maintain our internal and external security systems.
Internet access between the credit union and its members is provided by a secure Internet Service Provider (ISP). In place at the ISP are redundant enterprise firewalls and intrusion detection systems between the credit union and the Internet at large. Additional security for Internet Banking and Bill Payment includes robust authentication software, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, and dedicated frame relay lines.
The credit union is subject to periodic examinations, which include a security audit and review. The secure ISP arranges for monthly security reviews and certification, performed by different auditing firms each quarter to ensure objectivity.
Phishing and Password Protection
What is Phishing? Phishing attacks use 'spoofed' e-mails and fraudulent websites designed to lure recipients into divulging personal financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames and passwords, social security numbers, etc. By hijacking the trusted brands of well-known financial institutions, online retailers and credit card companies, phishers are able to convince up to 5% of recipients to respond to them. Please remember that Boulder Valley Credit Union and other credit union affiliated organizations or regulatory agencies will never send you an email requesting your personal information, account numbers, credit/debit card numbers, or passwords, etc. For further information on phishing, go to http://www.antiphishing.org/.
Security requires everyone’s involvement. In addition to the security BVCU provides, you can help prevent fraud as well. Guard your passwords and Personal Identification Numbers (PIN). Do not carry your PIN on or near your ATM, Debit, or Credit Cards. Make sure your Internet Banking access code is not available to others. Unfortunately, many fraud cases involve relatives and friends.
Secure Member Messaging
Occasionally, members will contact us about their account using email. Please note that email is not secure. Email goes over the Internet in clear text, and could potentially be intercepted. A safe alternative is Secure Member Messaging, a feature of Internet Banking. Log in to Internet Banking and select the User Options tab. In the list you will find User Messages. Click User Messages to enter a message or ask a question. Your web browser will already be in secure mode (look for a closed padlock on your bottom toolbar, or notice your web address now shows https:// instead of http://). This indicates you are communicating in the Secure Socket Layer (SSL), and that your communication is encrypted.
