BVCU becomes 1st CU in Boulder to go Solar! Press Release
Boulder Valley Credit Union is currently installing a 10-kilowatt Sun Power solar electric system on the roof of your Main Branch at 55th and Arapahoe in Boulder. Beginning June 1, 2007, their new solar electric system will produce clean, emission-free solar electricity, thereby offsetting 14 tons of CO2 pollution each year for the 30-40 year life of the system, which is equivalent to planting 1,078 total trees or equivalent to reducing 30,500 auto traveling miles per year.
